Details

FORT is a 3PL logistics / fulfillment platform based in the San Francisco Bay Area. We began with a focus on the alcoholic beverage industry, and developed several features that help manage compliance, reporting, and other critical aspects of highly regulated industries. FORT Systems was established in 1999, and now powers wine fulfillment warehouses around the country and helps manage all aspects of fulfillment and supply chain functionality, including tax paid vs in-bond, compliance and reporting, 3 tier clearing vs direct, batch-lot-serial number functionality, etc.

In addition to our core fulfillment platform, we have added a B2B “Exchange” that sits on top of our fulfillment infrastructure. This platform enables suppliers and buyers to interact seamlessly, and is fully integrated with the warehouse platform.

With the recent growth of the legal hemp, CBD, and cannabis industry, we have launched a separate company called Kudu to address that opportunity. The platform that powers Kudu is the same one we developed for alcohol, but has been enhanced to be cannabis/hemp/CBD smart.

The platform manages both D2C and B2B transactions, and offer unparalleled levels of shipping and fulfillment functionality for regulated products.
