Description

OpenMake Release Engineer is a strategic DevOps ARA solution serving the independent needs of a project team and the architectural operational planning requirements of the enterprise. Using 'next generation' agentless deployment technology, it deploys to multi-platform servers, clouds, or containers. It simplifies component packaging, database updates, jumping versions, calendaring and offloads your overworked CI process. Our experience implementing DevOps for hundreds of customers means we have expertise in your environment. Our 'pay as you grow' pricing model reduces risk of entering this corporate process change. Release Engineer is based on a unique domain model that provides a centralized location from which to define and strategize the datacenter infrastructure. Operation teams can use Release Engineer to define the low level reusable server components and share that information with the development teams. Development teams can focus on defining the tactical approach for deploying their unique applications, reusing what has already been defined for them by Operations. This centralized communication prevents costly errors late in the lifecycle, such as discovering that the production environment is unable to accept a release due to a mismatched infrastructure component. Release Engineer enables Projects Teams to work with freedom and fluidity while being coupled to a robust, enterprise-level processes that supports Release Management. It captures the Application-specific Release & Deploy requirements that are shared with Operations for full Release & Deploy automation. Release Engineer enables less risky releases and deployments with greater efficiency due to the unprecedented level of automation and abstraction. Release Engineer enables incremental deployments using its unique Roll Forward approach to determining which Component Versions of an Application require updating. This minimizes the need for performing monolithic deployments and instead supports agile, continuous deployments where changes are moved forward on a frequent basis.Free version supports two applications with unlimited releases, unlimited seats, unlimited version releases.
